Thomas M. "Tommy" Thompson, II, 70, of Sharpsburg passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1952 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Thomas Mitchell Thompson and Marie Thompson Hunt. He worked for RTR Trucking and loved working on cars and boats.

He is survived by son, Matthew Gatewood Thompson, DC of New London, CT; daughter, Christina Kathryn Thompson of Lexington, KY; brother, Charlie Thompson (Susan) of Sharpsburg, KY; sister, Olivia June Hunt Ripley of Mt. Sterling, KY; and nephews, Zach Thompson, Cody Thompson and Morgan Ripley.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Moore officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM-12 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Zach Thompson, Cody Thompson, Charlie Thompson, Morgan Ripley, Sam Doyle, Pete Scott, John Crowe and Kevin Gose.
