Timothy Shawn Parks, 43, of Mt. Sterling passed away May 27, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.  He was born June 19, 1977.  His parents are Martha & Curtis Parks of Mt Sterling, KY and Jackie Parks and the late Virgil Parks of Okechobee, FL. He was a self employed construction worker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Melissa Amburgey (Jeff) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Lora Williams (Shawn) of Smithfield, NC and Jennifer Ramos (David) of Hendersonville, TN; six nephews, Keith Williams, Kyle Amburgey, Kennedy Williams, Aaron Reynolds, Conlan Dile and Landon Barton; and two nieces, Isabella Ramos and Abigail Ramos.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Virgil Parks; one brother, James Virgil Parks II; maternal grandmother, Roberta Branham and maternal grandfather, Riley Sorrell; and paternal grandparents, Garvin and Mary Parks.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, June 1, 2021 at Jeffersonville Assembly of God with Pastor Robbie Conn officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, June 1, 2021 at Jeffersonville Assembly of God.  Pallbearers will be Keith Williams, Kyle Amburgey, Kennedy Williams, Shawn Williams, Terry Lawson and Jason Lawson.  Honorary pallbearers will be David Amburgey, Jeff Amburgey and Chris Martin. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
