Walter Freeland "Fuzzy" Hunt, 86, of Sharpsburg passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at his residence.  He was born November 24, 1935 to the late Willie Freed and Jenny Dudley Cline Hunt.  He was a caretaker of Crown Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Ralph Hunt of Sharpsburg, KY and Harry Hunt of Sharpsburg, KY; three brothers, Billy Hunt (Marie) of Bethel, KY, Ricky Hunt (Regina) of Owingsville, KY and Tommy Hunt (Betty) of Bethel, KY; five sisters, Betty Hunt McFarland, Oda Hunt, Alisa Dailey (David), Dorothy Daughtery (Danny) and Lorena Saunders all of Bethel, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Bowles Hunt; five brothers, Albert Hunt, Harold Hunt, Willard Hunt, Ronnie Hunt and Willie Freed Hunt; and a sister, Barbara Hunt Cray.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Maggie Smith officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Les Spencer, Payton Carroll, Matt King, Tony Parker, Jimmy Perry, Ricky Purvis, Mark Thomas and Harold Thomas.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Sexton, Bill Clemons and Keith Crouch.
