Wathena Mae Henderson Cartmill, 86, of Sterling Way, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Windsor Care Center.  She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on November 14, 1933 the daughter of the late Leonard W. Henderson and Rhoda Rose.  She was a retired factory worker having worked at Cowden's Manufacturing and Chef America.  She was member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and she was the widow of Ray Estill Cartmill.

She is survived by two sons, Barry Ray (Michelle) Cartmill of Wappingers Falls, NY and Bobby Darrell (Becky) Cartmill of Chesterfield, MO; one brother, Leonard Arville Henderson of North Carolina; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Henderson, Elbert Henderson and Edwin Henderson; and four sisters, Pearlie Bee Woods, Marvella Reffitt, Nannie McGuire and Annie Hall.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Latimer officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday evening from 4-6 pm at the Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Emmanuel Baptist Church. 555 Prewitt Pike, Mt.
