Wendell John Tackett, 32, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.  He was born November 20, 1988 to Elizabeth Tackett Ball and the late Amos Tackett.  He loved music and making rap music, fishing and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cornett of Mt. Sterling; mother, Elizabeth Ball (Terry) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Harmony Tackett of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Noah Tackett and Aiden Tackett both of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers, Amos Tackett of Mt. Sterling, KY and Jason Tackett (Mindy) of MO; one sister, Amy Walden of MO; two aunts, Lucille Tackett and Jennifer Johnson; three uncles, Ricky Tackett, Terry Tackett and Patrick Tackett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Randall Tackett.

A visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Patton, Shaun Canafax, Lee Cundiff and Dustin Tackett.
