Obituary

Willa Mae Spradling, 93, of Camp Judy Layne Road, Wellington, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Artville, Kentucky on May 20, 1926 the daughter of the late Claude and Atha Hobbs Lovely.  She was a retired Camp Ranger at Camp Judy Layne - Wilderness Road Girl Scouts.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Granny Girl Scout Troup.  She was the widow of Clinton Gabriel Spradling.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Spradling of Wellington, KY and Jeff (Pam) Spradling of Jeffersonville, KY; one daughter, Patricia Banks of Jeffersonville, KY; four grandchildren, Robert Barnes, Katie Grashel, Emily Spradling and Anna Spradling.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William D. Lovely, Monroe Jack Lovely and Paul W. Lovely.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg with burial following in the Wagers (Tackett) Cemetery.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 4 pm - 7 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Adam Grashel, Steve Pyles, Jeff Spradling, Mervill Lawson, Adam Grashel and Russ Ward.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Camp Judy Layne Fund of the Wilderness Road Girl Scouts, 2277 Executive Drive, Lexington, KY  40505.
