William Earl Crockett, 99, of Jeffersonville passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence.  He was born March 20, 1922 to the late Robert and Effie Mae McCarty Crockett. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and retired from Legett and Platt as a truck driver after 43 plus years of service.

He is survived by five daughters, Peggy Little of Mt. Sterling, KY, Deborah Pribble (Dave) of Williamsburg, VA, Barbara Palmer of Winchester, KY, Cheryl Fuller (Gary) of Cynthiana, KY and Connie Helton (Bennie) of Jeffersonville, KY; one sister, Gertrude Foley of Mt. Sterling, KY; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two special caregivers, John Frank Spencer and Mary Spencer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Ruth Wright; two sons, Larry Crockett and William David Crockett; two brothers, Donald Crockett and Everett Crockett; and five sisters, Ada Ford, Pearl Thompson, Lorene Ray, Wanda Maggard and Mildred Lewis.

A graveside service will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Machpelah Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Sean Arledge, Josh Arledge, Jeremy Holder, Blake Little, Shayne Palmer and Willie Palmer. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
