William Lawrence Ritchie 57 of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 5, 1966, in Fayette County to Shirley Devesta Ritchie and the late Tommy Treadway. He was a truck driver for Rumpke, and a member of the Jokers MC. He had a passion for motorcycles and loved his family.

He is survived by his mother Shirley Devesta Rothwell, his Bonus Dad Jimmy Rothwell both of Mt. Sterling His Bonus mom Jodi Treadway of Mt. Sterling, His wife Tonia Ritchie of Mt Sterling, 2 sons Matt Johnson and Chris Ritchie (Jackie) both of Mt. Sterling. 2 Daughters Amber Spurlock (Brandon) of Mt Vernon and Amanda Fetters (Jason) of Mt. Sterling. 3 Brothers Randall Lutes of Carlisle, Jimmy Rothwell of Mt. Sterling, and Gary Rothwell (Mary) of Mt. Sterling.  5 Sisters Dorothy Sue Chandler (Robert) of   Mt. Sterling, Brenda Nester (CeCe) of Mt. Sterling, Dawn Michelle Treadway of Mt. Sterling, Elizabeth Woolsey of Mt. Sterling and Sandra Rothwell of Mt Sterling 8 Grandchildren Cheyenne Rupe of Mt. Sterling, Nick Rupe of Mt. Sterling, Jayden Ritchie of Mt. Sterling Briley Smalling of Mt. Vernon, Sophia Smalling of Mt. Vernon, Eli Spurlock of Mt. Vernon, Bentley Patrick of Mt. Sterling and Maya Fetters of Mt. Sterling 2 Great Grandchildren Xander Drudge of Mt. Sterling and Karleigh Curtis of Mt Sterling, He is also survived by all of his Nieces and Nephews whom he loved dearly

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Lawrence Ritchie, and his sister Linda Faye Yarber

Pallbearers will be Chris Ritchie, Brandon Spurlock, Matt Johnson, Nick Rupe, Briley Smalling and Ethan Littleton

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Treadway, Eddie Wayne Snowden, Travis Treadway, Carl Oliver, Randall Lutes, Jimbo Rothwell, Gary Rothwell, CeCe Nester, Robert Chandler, Carter Blevins, Mason Smith, All his brothers of the Jokers MC.

Funeral services will be held 9 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Friday, February 16, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
