Winfred Gerald Moore, 81, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1945 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Henry Moore and Doxie Conway Moore. He was a farmer, loved animals and spending time with his family.

He is survived by four children; sisters, Aneda Welch (Wendell) of Jeffersonville, KY and Roberta Wierman of Winchester, KY; five grandchildren; and a caregiver, Karen Grooms of Jeffersonville, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Moore, A.J. Moore and Wendell Howard Moore; and a sister, Aldean Grooms.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Barnes officiating, burial following at Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Clarence Crouch, Josh Crouch, David Crouch, Jason King, Lonnie Moore and Ronnie Moore.
